produced by Ekta Kapoor and mom Shobha Kapoor. The movie is all set to to be a winter 2011 release with a scheduled release date of 2nd December.

The movie is all set to to be a winter 2011 release with a scheduled release date of 2nd December.The flick stars Vidya Balan in the role of Southern siren Late Silk Smitha. She is portrayed in quite a sensual pose complete with a bright red blouse, red lip-stick, hooded come-hither eyes and plenty of skin! She is also surrounded quite intimately by two actors - Nasseeruddin Shah, playing the role of an aging south star, and Tusshar Kapoor, who is the writer for Smitha's films and her love-interest in the movie. Emraan Hashmi, who has as of yet an unspecified role in the movie, is also seen on the cover in a staid and calculating look, dressed in black including a pair of black glasses.
The film will focus on the life of the actress - her journey to success and the solitude leading to her tragic death.
