| Vana Yudham Veerappan Biopic Movie Stills Posted: 25 Jul 2011 08:29 AM PDT It is a time for biopic films in Tamil cinema. Present day directors find inspiration from contemporary life situations. One more film to join the impressive list of biopic films will be director AMR Ramesh’s upcoming venture ‘Vanayudham’ which is being developed on the life of forest brigand Veerappan. The director has done a lavish groundwork on the notorious rebel drawing legal as well as credible inputs for his film. Ramesh has also met with many top government officials and has got the go ahead for making this film. ‘Vanayudham’ will see popular actor Kishore as Veerappan. Kishore stormed in to Tamil screens through the Dhanush starrer ‘Polladhavan.’ He also had a credible role to play in Vetrimaran’s ‘Aadukalam’ which won its hero and director a National Award. Kishore’s makeover as Veerappan has fit the actor like a glove, with his look garnering attention from media circles. The director has revealed that the film will span four decades of the forest brigand’s life till his death in an encounter. Actor Arjun too would be a part of this film with the actor playing Vijayakumar, the IPS official, who was instrumental in gunning down the poacher and sandalwood smuggler. National Award winning actress Priyamani might also be roped in for this project reveal sources close to the director, though nothing has been confirmed yet. ‘Vanayudhan’ will also see Bollywood actor Suresh Oberoi and Divya Spandana in supporting roles. The director is positive that this film come out quite well with the ample amount of evidence he has amassed from various sources in government and otherwise. | Nayanthara And Prabhu Deva In Guruvayoor Pics Posted: 25 Jul 2011 07:55 AM PDT Prabhu Deva visited the famous Guruvayoor temple in Kerala. Prabhu, prayed at the temple while Nayan sat in the car parked outside the temple premises.Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara had taken a vow to visit Guruvayoor temple, one of the holiest temples in India. The Sri Krishna temple Guruvayoor allows entry only for people born as Hindus, otherwise you will have to inform the authorities and show proof that you have converted into Hinduism. Hence only Prabhu Deva wearing saffron coloured dhoti and an angavasthram (a shawl) entered the temple around 7.15 in the morning. The actor spent about 25 minutes in the temple after the morning ‘Seeveli’ ritual, temple sources said. He presented a bunch of ‘kadali’ plantains to the presiding deity and received ‘prasadam’ from the temple chief priest Gireesan Namboodiri.Immediately after the ‘darsan’, Prabhu, to avoid the media glare made a dash to Nayan’s BMW car and the couple rushed back to Kochi. -Sify
