It's not surprising to hear that the Badshah of Bollywood has been honored with many awards from India, and from foreign countries as well, not to forget he has also been appreciated with rare honors. One more honour is now added to his memory: Shah Rukh Khan has been shooting for the sequel of Don in Berlin and got to visit Rotes Rathaus, Berlin's Town Hall and most importantly, met its gay mayor Klaus Wowereit.

The King Khan was then asked by the people to sign the guest book of the Berlin's Town Hall. And that is not all! The best news is that he's the first ever Indian actor to get into the guest book!

A Beautiful Wife-Spanish Beauty

In 2005, Ricardo de Montreuil directed La Mujer De Mi Hermano (My Brother's Wife), adapted from a novel by Peruvian writer-journalist-anchor, Jaime Bayly. The star cast compromised of Mexican superstar Anglica Aragn with Barbara Mori, Manolo Cardona and Christian Meier. The award-winning Spanish film was a box-office super-hit in Mexico and was also one of the biggest imported films in the USA, loved by both Mexicans and South-American immigrants.

Barbara Mori last starred in Kites opposite Hrithik Roshan which resulted in her gaining popularity in not just South Asia but in most Bollywood fan circles throughout the world.

La Mujer De Mi Hermano has now been dubbed in Hindi and in English before being released on November 19th, 2010. The Hindi dubbed version has claimed the title, Spanish Beauty with the English dubbed version going by A Beautiful Wife.

Mori plays the character of Zoe, also known as Soniya as per the Hindi version. Soniya is an attractive woman who has been married to Ishaan for ten years. Due to the lack of sexual attraction in her marriage, she has an affair with her husband's friend, Rohan. Believing that the affair is nothing more than two people fulfilling their more carnal needs, all is well until Ishaan finds out about the infidelity. But then comes the shocking revelation - the affair was merely revenge on the part of Rohan towards his friend.

With Kites receiving much criticism for it's English and Spanish dialogues, let's just hope the dubbed version brings Barbara more success.

After declaring her engagement with the tennis star Mahesh Bhupati, Lara Dutta is this time in news for yet another good reason. The soon-to-be-producer Ms. Dutta is ready to launch her own home production through the movie Chalo Dilli starring herself opposite Vinay Pathak.

We all know about the fleeting friendships and enmities in B-Town. Well, recently Lara and our very own Akshay 'Khiladi' Kumar seem to have become fast friends! So when Lara asked Akshay to appear in her movie as a guest appearance, Akki said yes without any hesitation! After all, what are friends for! Shiv Sena strikes again!

The tiff between Shiv Sena and super star Shahrukh Khan is is still far from over! The far-right political party has found yet another chance to literally pounce upon King Khan.

Shiv Sena openly went against SRK in it's mouthpiece Saamna. The party criticized SRK for arranging a dinner party in London for a Pakistani TV channel, Prime TV. They even made a huge deal of the fact that the party coincidentally was on the very same day that the whole country was mourning for the precious lives lost in the terror attack of 26/11. This fact particularly has greatly angered Shiv Sainiks who made it a point to nationally disgrace the star.

Earlier in the year, Shiv Sena protested against the release of My Name Is Khan when SRK expressed his desire of wanting IPL to cover Pakistani cricketers as well.

Looks like Shiv Sena keeps finding an easy target in Bollywood...one time too many!

Ranbir Kapoor as Mr. Bean?

The hearthrob of the younger generation Ranbir Kapoor is all set to destroy his chocolate boy looks for his next film, Anurag Basu's much awaited Barfee.

Yes, you heard it right girls! Ranbir is ready to gain weight for this film, previoiusly named Silence, to better fit into his character.

The rumor mills are buzzing that the role Ranbir is to portray has been specially scripted after the famous Charlie Chaplin himself. Not only that, but there is yet another twist that we feel the need to share with you. Apparently, the character also calls for the Kapoor boy to imitate known characteristics and moves of Mr. Bean! What's even more surprising is that this addition was Ranbir's brainchild!

'Unforgettable Himachal' with Preity Zinta !!

Bollywood's pretty lady with a pretty dimpled smile - Preity Zinta - will be seen in action again, after finally moving past her break up with ex-beau Ness Wadia and all the controversy surrounding IPL franchise owning rights. This time, the charming beauty will be seen as the brand ambassador for her home state, Himachal Pradesh!

Having grown up and schooled in the state capital, Shimla, Preity sure has a soft spot for the mountainous state. And the entire deal of it was apparently struck and near finalized when two of the home games for Punjab Kings XI (Preity's IPL team) were hosted by the Himachal Cricket Board in Dharamshala. The tourism minister of the state, present among other dignitaries approached her with the verbal offer and Preity is said to have jumped at the opportunity. From what more is being heard, the bubbly heart winning friend-of-all girl is doing this promotional campaign for Himachal Pradesh tourism free of cost!

Well, that does say something about why and how she comes to be adored by one and all. An open spirited and never-say die attitude Punjabi girl, Preity is sure to take the state's revenue to newer horizons. The slogans one shall hear her chanting soon go - 'A Destination for All Seasons and All Reasons' and 'Unforgettable Himachal'.

Sunny da ladla ... Karan Deol !

Sunny Deol and Rahul Rawail have a connection that goes all the way back to the year of 1983. When Sunny was ready to make his entrance into Bollywood, Dharmendra had asked Rahul himself to launch his son, and the film turned out to be the blockbuster hit of the time, Betaab.

Now, back to present day, it is now the time that Sunny's own 19 year old son is ready to begin attending acting school. Just recently, Karan Deol, Sunny's son, enrolled into Rahul Rawail's acting school. In fact, this is going to be the first Indian branch of the famous Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

The school in New York is well known by all as it is named after the acting teacher of Marlon Brando. Through that school, many famous Hollywood actors have found success, such as Anthony Quinn, Warren Beatty and Candice Bergen.

Rahul is very proud to have achieved this fanchise in Stella Adler Studio of Acting, and along with that, he is even proud to have Sunny's son as his first student.

Dabangg Girl & Khiladi Kumar together?

After giving the box-office hit film Dabangg, Sonakshi Sinha is back once again to steal hearts. This time, she will be seen spreading her magic in a film opposite Akshay Kumar in Shirish Kunder's 3-D film Joker.

In the film, Sonakshi will be essaying a modern day girl. This was one of the main reasons as to why Sonakshi was chosen for the lead role, because apparently she fits the character to perfection. Also, since she's new in the industry and hasn't worked with many actors yet, her pairing with Akshay will be new and something fresh for the audiences!

The supporting cast of Joker seems to consist of many actors, however the names haven't been announced just yet.

Since this film is going to be a 3-D film, it has been rumored that experienced Hollywood technicians will be used for the film editing. However, the plan is to have only a few foreign technicians, with the majority comprising of technicians from India itself.

The film is to be co-produces by Farah Khan and Shirish's Three's Company along with Akshay's Hari Om Entertainment. The film is to make its way to theaters sometime in the month of January 2011.

Friendship Blooming Between Kat & Deeps!

Not one among the tinsel town folks, and ardent bolly-goers can possibly be oblivious to the rivalry between Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone - the cause of these cold vibes being the king of Gen X controversies in B-town, Ranbir Kapoor.

Since the time of their common projects, gossip of Ranbir's romantic involvement with Kat has done several rounds in the tabloids - for one reason or another. His then girlfriend from Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani time, Deepika Padukone had not stomached rumors of her guy's alluded infidelity too well, and in the end the couple parted ways.

A source now reveals that Kat and Deeps have evidently decided to bury the hatchet, and try a hand at being friends instead. So much, that there stands possibility of the two pretty ladies starring together in Sajid Khan's sequel to Houseful!

Well well, nothing lasts forever - if not love, then neither animosity!

Although there is no formal word confirming the news of this shared project from Sajid, who claims only to have finalized the boys for now - John Abrahman, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Akshay. Others such as Paresh Rawal, Nana Patekar - he hasn't downright denied having considered this proposal either.

Rani, Aamir & Kareena to work together ?

If rumors are to be believed, Rani Mukherjee, Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan have been confirmed for the next production under the Excel Entertainment banner.

The film is to be directed by Reema Kagti (of Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. fame) and is being co-produced by Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani; whilst Rani and Bebo shall have no competitive tussle owing to equally prominent roles opposite male protagonist Aamir in this untitled suspense thriller. Pre-production work is on in full swing scheduling the film to go on floors for principal photography in March 2011.

The news has been confirmed by producer Ritesh of Excel Entertainment himself, who is excited to be linked with this venture that shall cast the trio on screen for the first time.

Apparently, while Kareena had been finalized without much ado, Rani Mukherjee has landed this very coveted role after beating the likes of Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and even Kangana Ranaut for her spot.

Aamir and Rani first shared the screen together in their blockbuster Ghulam. More recently, the duo were seen five years ago in their not so successful Mangal Pandey. Meanwhile, Aamir and Kareena can be recalled from their on screen chemistry in the mega hit of less than a year ago, 3 Idiots.

Rani and Kareena have previously acted together in Yash Raj's average running Mujhse Dosti Karogi. They were also starred together in the movie Yuva, although the roles did not get to share screen space as such.

Big names, bigger hopes - the anticipation sure runs high for this one. Watch this space for regular updates!

Hrithik & Aishwarya back again in Hamlet adaption?

Sources are claiming that Vishal Bhardwaj has decided to work on an adaptation of Shakespeare's literary genius, Hamlet. Apparently he wants Hrithik Roshan to play the Prince Of Denmark and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, his Ophelia.

Hamlet will be Vishal's third Shakespearean adaptation after Maqbool was driven from Macbeth and Omkara was inspired by Othello.

Vishal Bhardwaj claims that he has always maintained the wish to employ three of the Bard's legendary works for his movies, before leaving the Shakespearean themes alone.

Vishal has attempted in vain to bring together the Dhoom and Jodha Akbar jodi on screen for his previous ventures, but somehow things haven't worked out before. This time, he's determined to be satisfied with Hrithik and Aish and none other!

The said couple has most recently been seen in Guzaarish. We wish Vishal all the luck with his third and final making of Shakespeare's works!

Sushmita took off her T-shirt!!

If you think you've heard of every kind of escapade involving Bollywood biggies - well, you can always trust to be in for a surprise.
This time it involves two pretty ladies - the gorgeous former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen and the unorthodox diva Kangana Ranaut.

As per the claims of an eye witness, at a recent party, the two said ladies bumped into each other and Kangana in her candid ways expressed how she loved the tee that Sush was sporting; a tee that read 'I love SEX and the city!'

In her next move which was most unexpected, Sushmita left for the washroom, and returned with the tee in her hand, offering it to Kangana for keeps!

And as the gracious receiver of Sushmita's warm gesture, for the rest of the evening Kangna wore the said tee while Sush simply buttoned up the jacket she'd worn over the tee.

Previously, the two have met and interacted on the sets of Anil Kapoor's No Problem in South Africa and gotten along famously. Now, we see exactly how!

As a leak from those same sets, we hear that Sush, who treats Kangana as a younger sibling endearingly calls her Minnie Mouse, because the latter wears a lot of colourful hair clips with tiny ponytails, when not shooting.

Aww! Friendly bonding among the women folk of tinsel town is sure a rarity and hence a greater treat - we wish these two happy friendship years to come!

Rani as Jessica creates controversy!

First it was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan facing problems with the poster of her latest flick Guzaarish; now it's Rani Mukherjee's turn to face problems along the similar lines.
In Rani's upcoming film, No One Killed Jessica, the promos are receieving much heated reviews due to the contents shown - Rani smoking. But this comes as a very strange suprise as in her past film Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Rani was seen doing the exact same thing and no serious action was deemed necessary back then.

In the movie, Rani's character essays the role of a headstrong journalist that takes up the somewhat complicated case of Jessica Lal. Because of her character's portrayal, Rani is required to smoke in some scenes of the film. But it looks like the NGO has an issue with this and has already sent a letter to the Ministry and Censor Board; they want the scenes to be deleted along with any other scenes that depict her smoking.

If smoking wasn't enough, Rani is also seen using harsh profanity in both English and Hindi on screen. The question now stands as to whether these scenes will also be up for deletion? The director of the film, Rajkumar Gupta, gives an excuse claiming that this sort of profanity is commonly used in everyday life nowadays, no one will be harmed by portraying such common occurrences on screen.

It looks like that while the release date is still far off, the film is already in hot waters. We wish the whole team luck to combat any further troubles they might encounter throughout the time course.

Oh John ... you're mine! - Sajid Khan

When Sajid Khan made his directorial debut in Bollywood with Heyy Babyy, the cast of the film comprised of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Fardeen Khan. When it came to his second film, Housefull, Sajid chose to cast Akshay, Riteish and Arjun Rampal. Now, when talks of a sequel for Housefull are on, it has been heard that John Abraham will be making an entrance to join the cast with Akshay and Riteish.

While the three male leads of the film have been finalized so far, there are news that the rest of the cast has yet to be decided upon.

The decision to include John in the cast was a mutual decision between Sajid, Akshay and Riteish. In fact, despite Sajid and John being real good friends, this will be the first time that John will actually be seen in one of his films. The chemistry Akshay and John shared in Garam Masala was also plus point for his appointment.

Rumour is that the Housefull sequel will release around the time of May or June next year. Afterwards, Sajid is committed to doing a film for Vashu Bhagnani.

Shahid-Priyanka Parting Ways

There had had been many rumours going on about Priyanka and Shahid being romantically involved during and post the Kaminey times. The precise details on the matter, it appears, are under covers to stay, for the grapevine is abuzz with the pair's recent estrangement. Evidently, the two have called it splits - from being just friends, or more, is a dicey thing to say! .

Sources claim that the rift stems from an argument over tinsel town's more recent hottie - Ranbir Kapoor! It does happen to be a case of male vanity clashing, for the reason being stated underlying this disagreement between Piggy Chops and Shahid is the former's growing intimacy with her Anjaana Anjaani co-star. Facts are claiming that the beauty queen has signed yet another movie opposite the pretty faced casanova Kapoor lad. With Ranbir's past reputation of getting involved, or allegedly involved, with nearly every female co-star he has worked with, Shahid sure can be granted his reasons. Not to be forgotten also is his bitter experience of losing ex-girl Kareena Kapoor to Saif Ali Khan in this work-play interaction of movie shoots!

But Priyanka, being herself, has not decided to take Shahid's controlling ways like a sitting duck, and in rebelling this very nature has gone out to break her link with this close friend of over a year.

Aamir Khan or Karan Johar For Bebo?

Tinsel town's hottest diva Kareena Kapoor, who had almost signed up for Aamir Khan's next is now in a dilemma as the lady is also committed to an upcoming Karan Johar film. Both Reema Kagti's movie starring Aamir and Karan Johar's Short Term Shaadi in which Imran Khan plays the male lead start shooting in February 2011.

It's disclosed that Aamir had shortlisted three actresses : Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. If Kareena were to choose Karan over Aamir, one of her rivals would get the role in Aamir's movie and that would obviously not suit her well.

To add more troubles for the damsel in distress, Karan Johar is unable to postpone the shooting anymore mainly because of Imran; it has already been delayed since Imran's wedding will be in January 2011 and also to let him complete the shooting for the remaining portions for YRF's Mere Brother Ke Dulhan. The worst is that Kareena-KJo's relationship is already strained as a result of Kareena leaving Kjo's film in the past.

Meanwhile, Aamir still waits for an answer from Kareena so he can go ahead with the casting of another actress. Although only Katrina and Priyanka are currently being considered for the project as divulged, rumor mills are churning that Rani Mukherjee is a strong contender for a supporting role in the movie.

And why wouldn't she? Back in 1998, her first hit was Ghulam with Mr Perfectionist himself. As per Aamir, only Rani can do justice to the role as it's a strong, powerful, performance-oriented one.

If things go fine, Kareena and Rani might be able to work together again on the silver screen after 8 years. The close friends turned enemies, and polite co-stars may even get the chance to start their friendship afresh.

Case against Salman Khan, ''Bigg Boss'' makers for vulgarity

Lucknow, Nov 19 (IANS) A case was filed Friday in an Uttar Pradesh court against Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is also the host of the 'Bigg Boss 4' show, the producer and director of the reality show and some of the contestants over its vulgar content, an official said.

The case was filed in a court in Aligarh district under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 293 (sale of obscene objects), 294 (obscene acts and songs), and 120 B (criminal conspiracy).

It was filed in the chief judicial magistrate's (CJM) court on an application filed by an Aligarh-based lawyer Anoop Kaushik.

Kaushik Friday moved the complaint application against airing of the reality TV show 'Bigg Boss 4' on Colors channel.

'Besides Salman Khan, who hosts 'Bigg Boss', and five contestants of the reality show, the case has also been filed against MD of Colors channel, and the director and producer of the show,' Kaushik told reporters in Aligarh, some 350 km from Lucknow.

'The five contestants against whom the case has been registered include Sara Khan, her husband Ali Merchant, Dolly Bindra, Shweta Tiwari and Sameer Soni,' he added.

The court has fixed Nov 24 as the next date of hearing the case.

'Bigg Boss 4' has celebrity participants locked up inside an isolated house, without any link to the outside world. They are required to stay in the house under 24-hour camera surveillance.

Bollywood promoting strategies!!

Promoting a film is just as much of an integral part as making it. It seems no movie can go on the big screen without some sort of promotional stint. For most Bollywood stars, promoting means interviews with TV channels, appearing as a judge on reality TV shows or public appearances at malls and events.

But recently, besides the usual, Bollywood has come up with some weird and wacky ideas to give their movies the attention they deserve. But what BollyCurry wonders is how far are they actually willing to go in the name of promotion?

Can you imagine staying in a car all night long just to have spectators stare at you? Well, that was what poor Shahid and Genelia had to do. They spent a night in a parked car at Kamalistan Studios promoting their film, Chance Pe Dance as the movie was about strugglers.

Salman took another route when it came to promoting Dabangg. Instead of promoting like countless before him, the macho Khan choose to showcase his police avatar in the Color's show, Laagi Tujhse Lagan. But that wasn't the end of it. He also visited the sets of India's Got Talent along with his faithful dogs whom he's very protective over.

Akshay, just like Salman, did the same thing beforehand. When his film Khatta Meetha was to be released, he decided to spend some time in character from his film and visit the sets of Star Plus's highly successful show, Sasural Gendha Phool. For the release of his movie, Action Replay, he visited the sets of Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega and gave away his favorite bike to a contestant!

During the release of Anjaana Anjaani, Ranbir underwent a mock marriage with one of the contestants when he visited sets of Zee TV's, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar. Garlands were brought in and Ranbir also donned a sehra. Now that is definately a unique way to promote!

For his movie Ghajini, Aamir Khan had sported a bald hairstyle which fast became known as the 'Ghajini look'. So, in promotion for his film, Aamir shaved the heads of his fans! Also, for the release of 3 Idiots, Aamir travelled incognito and made people look for him with the theme of the movie being his character going missing while the 'idiots' go on a hunt for him.

Many joined social networking pages prior to the release of their movies, especially the ever popular Twitter. Shahrukh Khan joined on the behest of best buddy, Karan Johar before My Name Is Khan was showcased on the silver screen. Karan wanted shy Shahrukh to let his fans into his world!

We now see many Bollywood actors putting on glasses to be more in character. John Abraham is the latest to cajole in this new method for his latest flick, Jhootha Hi Sahi and no doubts, it has sent his famale fans crazy. Abhishek Bachchan also flaunted spectacles for weeks before and after the release of his move Paa where he played a young politician.

Birthday wishes for Sushmita Sen & Zeenat Aman !!

19th of November marks a special day in the Bolly calendar as it is the birthday of not one but two tinsel town beauties, Zeenat Aman and Sushmita Sen. On afterthoughts, 'beauties' does seem rather modest a term!

Born in Mumbai this said date in the year 1951, Zeenat completed her education as a graduate from University of California, Los Angeles and later during her Bollywood career married a fellow actor Mazhar Khan and gave birth to two sons. Not only was she Runners Up for Miss India '70, but also the first ever Indian woman to win the title of Miss Asia Pacific in the international finals of the prestigious beauty pageant. Zeenat was an unprecedented and unorthodox trendsetter for the contemporary actresses of her time; one who chose to essay the roles of the modern urban women in a revolutionizing Indian society, two decades over into independence.

Starting her career as a reporter for Femina, Zeenat was introduced to modeling by her peers, who had witnessed she delivering her most prominent ad campaign for beauty brand Ponds. Taking a step into the film industry with the movie Hulchul, Zeenat acted in some some of Bollywood's popular classics including Ajnabee, Yaadon Ki Baarat, Don, and the highly controversial film Insaaf ka Tarazu.

Zeenat Aman had made a great contribution to Indian cinema and will always be known as the one who changed the outlook in portraying Indian women.
