Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is reportedly in talks to star in the next 'Superman' movie.
Sources have told TMZ that Lohan, who is fighting allegations of felony grand theft over a 2,500-dollar worth missing necklace, already had several telephone conversations with the people behind the movie.
The 24-year-old is in talks about playing a "major character" -- though not Lois Lane -- and is "dying to show people again how talented she is," said the sources.
Lohan is reportedly set to meet with the "Superman" makers soon but is worried that her latest brush with the law could harm her chances of landing the role, reports the New York Post.
If convicted of theft, Lindsay would face a maximum of three years in state prison.
