Mumbai film festival signs of understanding with Pusan

The Mumbai Film Festival and the Pusan International Film Festival signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate more closely and build a solid network among Asian film communities.

At the ongoing Berlin Film Festival, Srinivasan Narayanan, festival director of Mumbai Film Festival, and Lee Yong-Kwan, Pusan IFF’s festival director, signed an agreement to strengthen artistic, financial and educational exchanges between the two festivals, a release said here.

Mumbai Film Festival, organized by MAMI, is a Reliance Entertainment Ltd initiative, which is the flagship media and entertainment arm of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group.

The Pusan International Film Festival is widely regarded as Asia's most important and influential film event and its 16th edition is scheduled from October 6 to Oct 14.
