Of all the elements that go into making works of cinema immortal, dialogues hold a significant spot. How many times have you resorted to using an evergreen liner by an old favorite? How many times have you watched your favorite movie over and over never tiring of those forever famous dialogues?

BollyCurry decided to bring for its readers a collection of some of our own favorites from the best! And in consideration of those who are no Hindi speaking veterans, we provide translations!

Love lasts for a lifetime. The film Mohabattein, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan, along with an ensemble of six younger artists, has a wonderful set of quotes. Love has found countless definitions in countless sources, here's how it becomes defined the Yash Raj way!

"Pyaar zindagi ki tarah hota hai. Jiska har morr aasan nahi hota, har raste per khushi nahi milti. Per jab hum zindagi ka saath nahin chorte, toh hum pyaar karna kyon chorein..."

["Love is like life. Every turn is not easy, every way doesn't end up in happiness. But when we don't leave life then why should we stop loving"]

"Koi pyar kare toh tumse kare
Tum jaise ho waise kare..
Aur koi tumhe badal kar pyar kare, woh pyar nahi sauda hota hai...
aur pyar mein sauda nahi hota"

["If someone gets into love then they must love you
they must love you for the way you are
If someone loves you by changing you, then that's not love but compromise.
And compromise is not done in love"]

Don
is a film that no one can ever forget; either version of it equally hit, and hopefully the promising sequel to come sometime soon shall be no less. But what is that one line you can't help but be reminded of, every time this thriller plot is mentioned? If you made a guess, we bet its right!

Don ka intezaar toh gyarah mulko ki police kar rahi hai Sonia. Lekin itna jan lo ki Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, na mumkin hai"
