Angelina Jolie immortalised in comic book

Actress Angelina Jolie has been immortalised in a comic book that talks about her rise to fame and life with actor and partner Brad Pitt.

The book, which is a part of the "Female Force" comic series, is written by Brent Sprecher and has illustrations by Nuno Nobre.

It will talk about Jolie's diverse range of movie roles, including her roles in "Gia" and "Girl, Interrupted", and her charity work.

"I learned a great deal about her struggles and triumphs as an actress, mother and humanitarian. Often painted as an edgy, slightly dangerous movie star, what is often not revealed about Ms. Jolie is her tireless commitment to charity work and her dedication to the plight of refugees around the world as a Goodwill Ambassador with the United Nations," aceshowbiz.com quoted Brent as saying.

The "Female Force" series was first published in 2008 to showcase strong and influential women who are shaping modern history and culture.

Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Margaret Thatcher, J.K. Rowling and Sarah Palin were among those who have been featured in previous issues.

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt takes interest in his partner Angelina Jolie's wardrobe and even decides her outfits for red carpet.

He stunned the Jolie's styling team when he selected a blue Max Azria gown for her to wear at the Screen Actors Guild awards in 2009.

"We were going to dress Angelina Jolie and we had a choice of three gowns with us. When we got there, she said she wanted Brad to pick," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Lubov Azria, chief creative officer of BCBGMaxAzriaGroup as saying.

"There's usually a staff of 10 people who all have an opinion. But Brad was very decisive. He's an architect and likes geometric things. He chose the dress that everyone thought was backwards, and it was. He likes boat necks - that's all she wears."

A boat neck - also known as a bateau neck - refers to a wide neckline that runs horizontally, front and back, almost to the shoulders.

While Pitt takes an interest in Jolie's wardrobe, the 35-year-old actress has previously claimed she doesn't worry about being fashionable as long as she feels comfortable.

"I don't think too much about what to wear on the red carpet. I usually have three basic colours and I get the same shapes in different colours. But I like to get dressed up and feel like a lady every once in a while," she said.

Hollywood superstar Will Smith’s daughter Willow wants actor Brad Pitt to play her father in ‘Annie’ remake.

The 10-year-old confirmed that she would be starring in the hip-hop version of the hit musical and wants Pitt to play her adoptive father Daddy Warbucks, reports contactmusic.com.

The role was originally portrayed by Albert Finney on the big screen in 1982.

The film will be co-produced by Will Smith.
