Rajeev Masand: Enemies Turned Lovebirds
This young male star, who's positioning himself as a Casanova of sorts, seems to have decided to make up for lost time. When he was in a committed relationship with a co-star for some years, he didn't let his eyes wander even momentarily, his close friends say. But ever since his relationship went kaput, he's been hitting on anything and everything that moves.
This includes a sexy female star who he'd worked with a few years ago, but didn't exactly get along with. His girlfriend at the time was sworn enemies with the actress, and as a result, he got off on the wrong foot with his co-star from the moment they began working together. Now single, he's been wooing her relentlessly. The actress, herself recently single after a long-term relationship ended, is enjoying the attention and has been flirting right back, her staff reveals.
When she was getting ready to fly to Greece to shoot a film she'd committed to, the male star offered to show up there towards the end of her schedule so they could holiday for a few days away from prying eyes. The actress is naturally flattered by all the attention, but her friends are warning her not to get emotionally involved. Her suitor, after all, has been serenading practically every actress who currently happens to be single. There have been reports of his hooking up with actresses at parties, and showering flowers and gifts on actresses who play hard to get.

Salman Khan - Bollywood's answer to Rajinikanth?
The superstar primarily of South India - Rajinikanth, has a major fan following all over India. There is none like the man himself and his effect on the box office is unbelievable. Bollywood has never really had a stable "box office lucky" actor till date. But with Salman Khan's recent stint at the box office, we might have to re consider.
The last few releases of Salman Khan have gone onto create box office records. One even won the National Award! Though he has given a no.of hit even before this, it is the "masala entertainer" avatar that the audiences have grown to love. The critics haven't been too easy on this Khan but his loyal supporters and fans have ensured that the critics do not spoil the party for Salman. This pattern almost resembles the pattern of Rajinikanth's relationship with the box office.
With all due respect, there is no comparison to this mega star's success. But truth be told, Rajinikanth's films have hardly been accepted by critics. There has been a few movies where his performance has been spoken about but it then reached a point where anything he did was a style statement. Even though his antics are almost always difficult to believe, it is those very antics that has the audiences world over going ga ga over him.
Salman Khan is now in a phase similar to that. When he did play some high intensity, meaningful roles, there was just a few section of the audiences that accepted it. The critics still had their share to say. But now, Salman's loyal fans have decided to support the star in full force in all his ventures and by the looks of it, Salman has in turn decided to give his fans what they need instead of trying to please the critics.
It is difficult to remember the last time a actor had a run of this sort at the box office. Maybe he is just plain lucky or maybe hos hard work is finally paying off. But for now, whatever Salman Khan touches is making crores of money and the fans are loving this avatar of their star. If you want any more proof of it, here are a couple of videos portraying the "Salman mania"!
So whose complaining then?

Kajal Agarwal's FHM shoot inspired from Britney Spears's controversial 1999 magazine cover
Back in 1999, when Britney Spears was photographed for Rolling Stone magazine, it didn’t send good vibes among the masses. Spears, who was just an innocent teenager that time was seen posing on the cover in her underwear on the bed. It was taken as an offense to the social activists and parents.
Do you see the similarity?
