| 58th Idea Filmfare Awards 2010-2011 Stills Posted: 04 Jul 2011 08:04 AM PDT The 58th Idea Filmfare Awards winners for the South included Mynaa, winning Best Film, Vasanthabalan winning Best Director, Vikram winning Best Actor and Anjali winning Best Actress in the Tamil region. For Telugu it was a sweep of the top 4 major awards for the movie Vedam. It won the Best Film award, Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi won Best Director, Allu Arjun grabbed Best Actor and Anushka Shetty (pictured) took home Best Actress. Meanwhile in the Malayalam region, Pranchiyettan & the Saint won Best Film, its director Ranjith won as well as its lead actor, Mammootty. However, Mamta Mohanas won the Best Actress Award for Kadha.                                                                |

| Theneer Viduthi Movie Review And New Stills Posted: 04 Jul 2011 04:53 AM PDT Cast-Aadith, Reshmi, Kodumudi, Swetha, Prabhakaran Director-SS Kumaran Story,Screenplay-SS Kumaran Music Director-SS Kumaran Producer-Anusha Devi Banner-Peacock Pictures Camera-Manavalan Romance and cinema always goes hand on hand! Likewise music director S.S. Kumaran is ready with his first directorial venture Theneer Viduthi (which means tea stall in Tamil), which is a romantic comedy with many twist and turns. The film has newcomers Aadith and Reshmi in the lead roles. Music composed by S.S. Kumaran was released by actor Narain in Chennai recently. The film is produced by Anusha Devi under Peacock Pictures banner. The film infact has a very simple storyline. Kumaran (Aadith) and his brother Kodumudi are ‘pandal’ contractors in their village. Kumaran is a regular boozer and smoker and his brother is no better. But life takes a U turn when Kumaran falls in love with Valli (Reshi), daughter of the village sub-registrar. Valli is the pampered daughter of the household because she has lost her mother at a very young age. How does the lead pair unite despite their class difference forms the rest of the story. Performance wise, lead actor Aadith needs to work hard on his facial expressions and body language however heroine Reshmi (of Inidhu Inidhu fame) is better. The main highlight of the film is Prabhakar who plays the role of a caring father, but the directors idea of portraying a father, who wishes well for his daughter, in a negative shade is a major letdown. S.S. Kumaran storyline is very simple and linear but his dragging screenplay seems to be the main culprit. On technical side, camera work by Manavalan is good and pleasant. Music by S.S. Kumaran is average but the soothing locations and the songs picturisation needs a special mention. -Galatta                                                            |

This movie is a sequel to ‘Muni’. The film is releasing on July 14th in Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously.Larencce himself directed this film while Bellamkonda Suresh is the producer. S S Thaman composed music for the flick. Sharath Kumar, Kovai Sarala, Sandhya et al are acting in this bi-lingual film. “One last song is being shot in Ramoji Film city now. We will release this movie in the second week of July. Larencce looks different in this film. Thaman’s music has come out well and all the songs in this movie are situational.
