Bipasha's SMS blunder!

Yes, much has been said and reported about this controversy these past few days. But who must one believe?!

John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, who have long stood a couple in the line of tinsel town's 'hot and happening', have more recently been escaping the media's eye for a while too long, with neither of them coming clean about the cracks in their bond. Whether it is responding to quips about if they would ever marry, or the more direct ones which insinuate their having parted ways, the duo have remained subtly but firmly tight lipped. Rumors of their break up in particular, are only fueled by the mention of a certain Telugu actor, Rana Daggubati, in the entire controversy, for his alleged closeness with Bips which has quickly become the talk of the town. For the uninitiated, the two share screen space in Bipasha's upcoming flick, Dum Maro Dum.

Though both John and Bips have not been heard acknowledging the split, it looks like the latter tried a little too hard to conceal the 'truth', giving it away in the process. Reportedly, Bipasha sent out an accidental message which read, 'Yes, being single in great' to a journalist who just happened to be in her contact list. The message, it's believed, was meant for someone else. Fearful of the gossip being leaked, Bipasha's publicist contacted the media, informing them that the message sent out was only as a publicity gimmick by a fan who had got his hands on Bipasha's phone as it had been missing for a while.

With all the hue and cry roused, including loud and vehement protests by Bips herself against any truth in the matter, one has to recall how being controversial is not a first for this couple. There was the unforgettable instance of Football star Christiano Ronaldo cozying up and kissing the sultry Bong babe once upon a time. The smoke had eventually died down at that time, and together John and Bips had withstood it as a couple.

One can only hope then, that true or not, the gorgeous duo shall get past this issue as well, second time round!
