The filming for Tusshar Kapoor's upcoming release Shor - In the City is now complete, and the promotional campaign for the same in underway. The actor is taking it upon himself to ensure no stone is left unturned in this matter, for promotions are known to crucially influence the opening weekend of any and every movie release these days.
Tusshar, who plays the role of a bootlegger in the movie, has adopted a hands-on approach to generating interest for the film among the masses. In recent days, he was seen on Mumbai roads sporting the kurta and headband look, all set to sell books to the pedestrians right there on the pavement. Sadly, the crowd took even longer the usual to recognize him as Kween Ekta's brother Tusshar Kapoor.
In his defense, the tactic of Tusshar's was apparently inspired by none other than Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan. It's no secret, the lengths to which Aamir goes in bringing concepts of his movies to life, as mere promotional gimmicks, as from the pre-release times of Ghajini and 3 Idiots. Given Khan's success rate in rousing public's intrigue with his unique ways, Tusshar naturally placed unquestioning belief in the use of such technique.
