Lindsay Lohan's celebrity status did not help her as she was unceremoniously turned away from a private party at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in Hollywood.
It is not clear why she was refused entry to the West Hollywood venue, but there was a uniformed police officer present at the scene, reports the Daily Mail.
The 'Mean Girls' star was seen dashing into the Roosevelt Hotel at around 1.45am on Friday morning in search of her on-again off-again girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
However, she has vehemently denied she was there to party.
She had driven 15 miles from her home in Venice Beach home to see Sam, who was DJing at Teddy''''s nighclub inside.
About 45 minutes later the pair emerged together and both got into Sam''''s Mercedes for the drive back - abandoning Lindsay''''s rented Porsche at the hotel.
However, Lindsay has dismissed reports that she was partying at Teddys and said she was only there for a short while.
On her Facebook and Twitter page she wrote, "The reports I was at teddys are inaccurate... I was just at roosevelt to meet Samantha and say happy birthday to a friend.
"I take my sobriety seriously. please don''''t believe this accusations. i know the rules and i wouldnt risk probation. xoxo L," she added.
