Preity's Platinum Award for Peoples' Friends

While under the radar, Preity Zinta has dedicated her time to gaining and sharing knowledge about different cultures in hopes of promoting their peaceful coexistence. She has successfully spread the word about the power of friendship and used it to help individuals from clashing backgrounds to reconcile with one another, and for this effort she is soon to be honoured with a Platinum Award for Peoples' Friendship.

The award is a sculpture of a white olive tree constructed from precious marble, platinum and diamonds – a thoughtful design given the proverbial relevance of an olive branch. Surely then, a gorgeous addition - priceless in significance - to the bubbly beauty's laurels.

Designed by the renowned sculptor and theologian Agatino Capella, Zinta was honoured with this unique 'award' and exclusive gesture at the occasion of the 68th Venice Film Festival (31st August '11 - 10th September '11).

Many congratulations to Preity on this achievement, and here's wishing her continued success in the noble effort for which it was earned!
