Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (also known as Mission: Impossible IV) is an upcoming action film. It is the fourth film in the Mission: Impossible film series.It stars Tom Cruise, who reprises his role of IMF Agent Ethan Hunt for the fourth time.The film is directed by Brad Bird, and written by Christopher McQuarrie, André Nemec and Josh Appelbaum. It is produced by J.J. Abrams (director of the third film), Cruise and Bryan Burke, and will be released in the U.S. on December 16, 2011. It is the first Mission: Impossible film not to be produced by Paula Wagner.
